A TAMIL MOVIE REVIEW KALAVANI MAPPILLAI - BOLLYWOOD - 2018
A discontinuously clever parody for an undemanding group of onlookers
Kalavaani Mappillai Movie Synopsis: A young fellow needs to conceal the way that he can't drive from a rich lady to wed her little girl.
Kalavaani Mappillai Movie Review: Gandhi Manivasagam has every one of the components that a parody worked around trickery needs. We get a youth competition between Deva (Dinesh, uneasy) and Villangam (Munishkanth, underutilized), a quickly manufactured sentiment among Deva and Thulasi (Aditi Menon), a backstory for why Thulasi's mom (Devayani, with a lousy hair-do) needs a child in-law who can drive, a henpecked spouse (Anandraj, who assumes on the liability of making us chuckle), a comic character (Rajendran, in an endorsed job) who could uncover the saint's untruths…
In any case, similar to a culinary expert who knows the essence of a dish yet can't make sense of how to blend and match the fixings, he battles with regards to plotting a satire out of the components that he has. Hence, we wind up with a film that is discontinuously interesting for an undemanding gathering of people.
